The purpose of this group is for university professors and grad students of relevant disciplines to discuss matters of truth and aspect in all areas of American law and politics, broadly situated. This platform grew out of the need for scholars to have a place of free and unfettered professional discourse about such things.

For whatever reason, existing outlets became lost and people balkanized into their own social cliques. Worse yet: they went on Twitter. The information bubble and intolerant intellectual culture had bitten us all. But, upon reflection, there were some who realized that Frodo was still headed to Mordor, and that our fellowship therefore remained.

All is not yet lost.
